The Dixon Family Travels

Join us as we adventure Around the corner and across the world

Because going new places is fun.

If you haven’t figured it out by now, we like to travel. Around here you’ll mostly find our adventures around regional Western Australia in our caravan but, just for good measure, we’ve just embarked on an overseas trip and we’ll share our stories and learnings from that too.

Who are the Dixons? Chief writer around here is me (Anna) and I’m joined on our travels by my husband Tony (the practical one), our baby girl Gemma (the cute one) and our Australian Cattle Dog Jess (the stick-mad one). When we aren’t holidaying, Tony works in the mining industry and I run CreativeIQ, a branding and communications agency.

While Tony and I have travelled all over Australia together (and overseas), adding a baby to the mix has been interesting and we’ve learnt a lot about a combination of being organised and structured but, at the same time, somehow flexible.

Our family travel stories are a combination of places we’ve been and experiences we’ve had, along with tips and tricks to make it easier – especially when you’ve got a baby (and dog) on board. As well as our website, you’ll find us on Facebook, Instagram and TripAdvisor.

Blessed are the curious, for they shall have adventures.
